Hi, I’m Tommy Seo — an art director in Southern California with more than 20 years of experience bringing together design, motion, photography, and film into one cohesive creative voice.

Throughout my career, I’ve taken pride in being a hands-on creative. I design, animate, shoot, edit, and build. This deep, practical involvement gives me a grounded perspective when shaping visual direction. Whether it’s crafting a brand from scratch or bringing a story to life through motion or imagery, I approach every project with both precision and curiosity.

Outside of work, I’m a car enthusiast and a visual explorer. I’m fascinated by retro futurism — the way past generations imagined the future — and I often draw inspiration from that aesthetic in my personal projects. I also love heading off the grid with a camera in hand, chasing light, design, and unexpected beauty.

I believe the best work starts with a simple hello. Whether it’s a new project, a fresh role, or just a chance to connect, I’m always open to the conversation. Titles may shift — associate creative director, senior art director, director of photography, senior designer — but my approach stays the same: hands-on, curious, and committed to making the vision shine.
