In a truly awesome collaboration, I had the privilege of taking photos of the super-talented cellist, Yena Choi. We went on a creative adventure together to put together a collection of impactful black and white images, all about capturing the soulful vibe of her music and who she is.
Once Yena Choi gave the thumbs up on the first session, we were excited to get together for a second one to prep for her upcoming album.
Shifting away from the studio vibe we had in our first collab, we decided to hit the lively streets of downtown LA. We were on a mission to find eye-catching backgrounds and cool textures to give the shoot a unique, edgy feel.
