Description

Alpine-USA approached Five & Done to revamp their website, seeking a fresh look and enhanced user experience. As we delved into the project, we recognized that the primary challenge lay beyond design – their abundance of product photography lacked the relatability that connects with their audience on a personal level.

In response, we came up with the idea of adding lifestyle photography to their website redesign. Our goal was to make the user experience more engaging and meaningful by mixing product visuals with relatable lifestyle images. We're thankful for the chance to help Alpine-USA enhance their online presence and build stronger connections with their customers.

With a tight budget in hand, we took on a demanding project that involved shooting at multiple locations in a single day. The time constraints meant we couldn't spend too long on setups. To tackle these challenges, we opted for a run-and-gun photography style, making the most of natural light without the luxury of elaborate strobe setups.

In the face of challenging circumstances, we had to get creative and stay adaptable. We saw it as a chance to demonstrate our talent for capturing genuine and candid moments. Even with all the constraints, we take pride in the final outcome because it truly reflects the authentic essence of the scenes we captured. We're grateful for the opportunity to deliver outstanding results within these limitations.

With just about three weeks on my hands, I took on the challenge of creating "Vote" from scratch. From giving life to the 2D characters to adding those finishing touches with sound design, it was a whirlwind journey. I started by sketching out the storyboards, and then I dived into exploring various character designs using Adobe Illustrator. Organizing every shape on separate layers was key to making the magic happen in Adobe After Effects. Some scenes needed some good old-fashioned frame-by-frame animation, like that one where the main character checks himself out in the mirror.
