Description

'Shoot with Gunner' is a YouTube channel I created back in 2019, which represents the very FIRST video project I've ever undertaken. Many individuals might assume that transitioning from photography to videography is relatively straightforward. However, video takes you into a whole different world, requiring mastery of a whole bunch of new skills.

Embarking on this adventure, I set out to combine my love for nature and photography by traveling with my Jeep, capturing the mesmerizing landscapes and documenting my trips. Through this project, I challenged myself to dive headfirst into the world of video-making, aiming to quickly enhance my video skills through consistent practice.

One of the trickiest parts of this project was the need to manage all the filming solo, all while being in front of the camera myself.

Photographers usually stick to the behind-the-camera role, but I had to get really inventive to capture myself while driving or walking. Plus, as a bit of an introvert, it added another layer of challenge.

I've gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from this project. It's disheartening that I had to discontinue the channel due to personal reasons, but I hope to begin a new one someday.
